Oasis
Finally we found our perfect reception venue – The Pavilion @ Oasis. It is the largest venue in Oasis which holds up to 450 guests and is surrounded by lush garden and peaceful pond. Located at Aurora Blvd. near Broadway Centrum and Mount Carmel Church. And yesterday, we already paid the 50% deposit or Php27,500, the rest will be installments of 30%(6 months before wedding) and 20%(2 weeks before). Reception done. Next task - caterer.

Marrying Month of May
VRC Creative Events will host a bridal fair on May 5-6, 2007 @ Megatrade Hall 3 SM Megamall. Soon-to-be-wed couples should come and visit the event to see different suppliers exhibit their products and services which includes gown, invitations, rings, flowers, caterers, photo and video services, entertainments, and wedding coordination. Wedding Preps
Since the proposal, we had our weekends set either to visit churches or scout for wedding boutiques/kiosks in malls. I never thought that wedding planning was such a tedious task, to think that I just recently started and there's still more planning and deciding on the coming months. :)
Last April 14, we have already reserved for our wedding date on April 05, 2008 which will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish near Broadway. Down payment paid was 50% or 5,500 pesos. We have chosen this church because of the peaceful setting and it has its own function hall that can be used as our reception venue. Another option for reception venue is The Oasis, which is also near the church. We haven’t seen the place yet and will still inquire their rental rates/packages.
Next stop, reception venue. :)
